”Anxiety is having to remind myself that being afraid of things going wrong isn’t the way to make things go right”

Occasional anxiety is a normal experience for most people. Normal anxiety such as worry about paying bills, landing a job, romantic breakup, nervous before an exam or interview and others are the example of normal anxiety that usually we encounter in daily life. However, people with anxiety disorders frequently have intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations and impairing their daily functioning. These feelings of anxiety and panic interfere with daily activities, are difficult to control, are out of proportion to the actual danger and can last a long time. Symptoms may start during childhood or in teen years and continue to adulthood.
